Job Summary

A Digital Systems Development & Integration Officer I in Metemamen Microfinance Responsible for developing, integrating, testing, and supporting digital financial and payment systems, ensuring seamless interoperability between Core Banking, digital channels, payment switches, and partner institutions using ISO 20022, APIs, and other integration standards. The role supports end-to-end payment integration, certification, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of digital financial services..

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate digital payment solutions using ISO 20022 and API standards.
• Implement Account Verification, Push Payment, R2P, Alias Resolution, and E-Mandate services.
• Develop and maintain Banking Simulator and Instant Payment System integration environments.
• Perform SIT, UAT, certification testing, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
• Integrate Core Banking, digital channels, payment switches, banks, and external systems.
• Validate payment messages, transaction flows, APIs, and end-to-end processing.
• Collaborate with banks, payment partners, vendors, and internal teams during integration and certification.
• Prepare integration specifications, test cases, technical documentation, and implementation reports.
• Monitor production integrations and resolve transaction, connectivity, and messaging issues.
• Ensure integrations comply with security, regulatory, and interoperability requirements.

Qualification

• Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical and Computer Engineering & Related IT fields
  Experience
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in digital systems development, integration, or related fields.
• Minimum of 1-2 year of experience as a Digital Systems Support/Digital Systems Dev’t /Digital Payment/Digital Integration or in an equivalent role.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of ISO 20022, digital payments, and system integration.
• Proficiency in API, REST/SOAP, XML, JSON, and SQL.
• Experience in Core Banking, payment switches, and digital channel integration.
• Strong testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of payment simulators, transaction flows, and reconciliation.
• Understanding of API security and secure data exchange.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and partner coordination skills.
