You will be responsible for…
- Monitor security events and alerts through SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, network security devices, and other monitoring platforms.
- Analyze and investigate security alerts to distinguish legitimate activities from potential cybersecurity threats.
- Identify suspicious activities, indicators of compromise, unauthorized access attempts, malware, and other security events.
- Escalate confirmed and high-risk incidents according to approved SOC procedures and service level requirements.
- Support incident containment, remediation, and recovery activities in coordination with relevant technology teams.

What we need from you
Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Location: Addis Ababa
Expectations: High operational accuracy and strict adherence to NBE standards.
Education Qualification:- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with experience or practical knowledge in cybersecurity operations, security event monitoring, log analysis, threat detection, incident response support, and endpoint and network security monitoring. Knowledge of SIEM tools, security incident escalation procedures, and SOC operational processes is an added advantage.
