Founded in Dublin, Ireland, in 2005, Camara currently operates four education hubs across Africa: Ethiopia, Kenya, Zambia, and Tanzania.
Camara Education Ethiopia delivers digital education solutions to schools and educational institutions throughout the country. Our interventions include Digital Learning Hubs, curriculum-aligned digital learning content, offline AI solutions, teacher professional development, digital and AI skills training, ICT infrastructure support, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation of learning outcomes and digital skills development.
Since partnering with the Federal Ministry of Education in 2011, Camara Ethiopia has installed 81,340 computers in 3,295 schools, trained 21,188 educators, and impacted more than 2.8 million learners.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the supervision of the Country Director, the Technology Specialists will be the technical backbone of Camara Ethiopia's digital education programmes.
