Chief Technology Officer

Job Purpose

• The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) provides strategic leadership for Mereb Pay’s technology function, overseeing digital payment platforms, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems integration, data, AI, and digital innovation to ensure secure, reliable, scalable, and efficient payment services. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the company’s technology strategy and roadmap. Lead technology teams covering platforms, APIs, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and digital innovation. Ensure the security, availability, scalability, and reliability of digital payment systems. Oversee system integration, technology architecture, quality assurance, and change management. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, cybersecurity, and information security requirements. Manage technology budgets, vendors, investments, and strategic partnerships. Drive digital transformation, innovation, automation, and continuous improvement. Build high-performing technology teams and advise executive management on technology strategy and risks.

Qualifications and Experience Education:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: 8–10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably including senior technology leadership experience.

Technical Competencies:

• Digital payments, payment gateways, APIs, enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data analytics, and technology governance. Leadership Competencies:
• Strategic thinking, decision-making, team leadership, stakeholder management, innovation, and communication skills.
