IT Support Officer

Purpose of the Job:

Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks. IT Support monitors and maintains the company computer systems, installs, and configures hardware and software, and solves technical issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply the maintenance procedure to maintain and troubleshot IT equipment.
• Provide technical support to end users in respective locations (this may be in person or over the phone).
• Responding in timely manner to the service issues and maintenance requests comes from end-users.
• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems, application printers and scanners.
• Monitor and troubleshot networks and its peripheral and give proper support.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of all IT infrastructures such as servers and network connections, besides hardware and software infrastructures.
• Request and distribute IT Equipment’s to employee based on IT policy.
• Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.
• Report complex system, networking, or maintenance problems to IT Team Leader/IT Manager.
• Ensure all IT infrastructure and computers are protected from Viruses and Malwares.
• Participate in the networking and network installation activities in respective location.
• Give support on ERP(SYSPRO) request comes from end-users and follow up the update of the system.
• Give light IT maintenance service to IT devices and office electronic materials upon request come from all end-Users.
• Ensure that the company’s data and information are protected from unauthorized access.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Education:

• TVET Level III in ICT or Computer Science or related fields with Competency Certification.

Experience:

• 4 Years of Work Experience for TVET Level III in ICT or Computer Science or related activities.
