Full stack developers

Fetan Equb Technologies is a patent-protected fintech building the world's first Million-Person Equb — an open-line, interest-free savings and loan platform. We are seeking two (2) skilled Full-Stack Developers to build and maintain our mobile app and backend systems.

Main Role and Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain mobile applications using Expo React Native

· Build and manage Django (Python) backend APIs

· Integrate REST APIs and manage data flow between mobile and backend

· Build clean, responsive, and reusable UI components

· Implement security protocols, encryption, and authentication

· Integrate payment gateways: Telebirr, M-PESA, CBE Birr, and Chapa

· Debug issues and improve app stability and performance

· Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and the CEO

Required Skills

· Python / Django / REST APIs

· React Native (Expo) / JavaScript / TypeScript

· Payment integration experience (Telebirr, M-PESA, CBE Birr, Chapa)

· PostgreSQL / Git and GitHub

· Security (encryption, KYC, SSL/HTTPS)

· Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership

Preferred Qualifications

· Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Notifications)

· EAS Build / Expo Application Services

· Published apps on Google Play Store or App Store

· Experience with fintech or payment systems in Ethiopia

· Blockchain experience (a plus)
