Junior IT Officer

Job Description

• Provide network support and resolve network issues;
• Provide user support on the various available Bank’s system;
• Install and configure computer hardware and required software;
• Provide support and hardware maintenance on computer, printers, scanners and
  related devices;
• Provide network installation and preventive maintenance at branches;
• Maintaining end user domain accounts and related security settings centrally from a
  windows active directory.
• Work closely with other IT teams to provide end to end user support and issues
  resolution;
• Offer timely technical support and advice users how to utilize computers and
  systems correctly.
• If required, configuration and troubleshooting on Routers, Switches and Firewalls.
• Handle after working hours and in holidays as assigned.
• Reports all security incidents to responsible IT unit or manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• BSc Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields of
  study. From one to two years of IT support, computer and printer hardware maintenance
  on hand experience is required.
• If the applicant has a computer and printer hardware maintenance certificate such as A+ or
  local training certificates with on hand experience, it will be advantageous
• Under Mekelle District.
