Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Experience: 5 Years

Majestic Trading P.L.C. is looking for an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in developing and deploying modern web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications.

• Build responsive front-end interfaces and secure back-end APIs.

• Design and manage SQL databases.

• Develop modular, scalable, and maintainable software.

• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, banks, and mobile wallets.

• Handle payment workflows including callbacks, transaction verification, reconciliation, refunds, and transaction status management.

• Participate in Git-based team development, testing, deployment, and code reviews.

• Troubleshoot and improve existing production systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.

• 5 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong front-end and back-end development skills.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and SQL databases.

• Experience with modular software architecture.

• Strong Git and collaborative development experience.

• Ability to work on-site in Addis Ababa.

Preferred Experience

• Payment gateway and mobile wallet integration.

• Bank API and digital payment integration.

• POS, ERP, inventory, finance, or merchant management systems.

• Payment transaction processing, reconciliation, webhooks, refunds, and security.

• Cloud deployment, CI/CD, Docker, and mobile development.
