Junior System And Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior System & Network Engineer to support the maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the organization's IT systems and network infrastructure. The successful candidate will assist with system administration, network connectivity, server management, data backup, cybersecurity, and IT technical support while ensuring the reliability, security, and efficient operation of IT services. This position is suitable for a recent graduate or an early-career professional who is eager to develop practical technical skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.

Experience

• 0–1 year of relevant experience in system administration, network infrastructure, or IT technical support.

Technical Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and system administration.
• Understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Basic knowledge of VMware, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, troubleshooting, and network monitoring.
• Ability to maintain IT infrastructure documentation.

Certifications

• CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent certifications are an added advantage.
