ALTA Computec PLC is looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. We are seeking a candidate with strong technical foundations, problem-solving skills, and a passion for building scalable digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications and mobile applications

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services

• Integrate third-party APIs and external systems

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products

• Maintain code quality using Git workflows and version control best practices

• Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and software engineering trends

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• Solid understanding of Software Engineering principles and best practices

• Knowledge of:

  • Web Application Development

  • Mobile Application Development

  • REST API Development

  • API Integration

  • CI/CD Pipeline concepts

  • Git workflow and version control systems

• Familiarity with modern frontend and backend frameworks

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, Flutter, or similar technologies

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices

• Basic understanding of database systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
