Junior Full Stack Developer

About the Role

At Nicomas Digitals PLC, we manage a growing portfolio of proprietary SaaS products and build high performance custom digital solutions for clients.

We are seeking an agile, resourceful Junior Full Stack Developer. You will start by standardizing our lean deployment pipeline across our platforms, then transition into ongoing SaaS maintenance, converting serverless logic into structured Express.js backends, customizing client solutions, and building new software products from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

1. Portfolio-Wide Infrastructure & Deployment Blueprint:

- Standardize all SaaS applications under our zero-cost, high-performance stack: Cloudflare Pages (frontend), Cloudflare Email Routing, and Oracle Cloud (OCI Always Free) + Coolify for self-hosting.

- Eliminate recurring software subscriptions across our current and upcoming product portfolio.

2. Backend Engineering & API Architecture:

- Migrate existing serverless edge functions into clean, modular, and reusable Express.js API routes.

- Design, secure, and maintain backend architectures connected to Supabase/ PostgreSQL.

3. Continuous SaaS Maintenance & New Builds:

- Take internal SaaS MVPs (prototyped with AI tools like Cursor/Claude), polish technical debt, and push them to production.

- Build new internal SaaS applications and tailored client solutions from scratch.

- Provide continuous bug fixing, performance monitoring, feature upgrades, and Quality Assurance (QA).

Requirements & Skills

- Backend: Solid hands-on experience with Node.js & Express.js (REST API design, auth, middleware).

- Migration Know-How: Ability to read and refactor serverless/edge functions into standard Express endpoints.

- Frontend & Database: Proficiency in React + Vite and PostgreSQL / Supabase.

- Cloud & DevOps Basics: Practical experience with Linux VPS, Docker basics, DNS management (Cloudflare), and self-hosting tools like Coolify on Oracle Cloud (OCI).

- AI-Assisted Development: Proficient in leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate building, testing, and debugging.

- Versatility: Comfortable context-switching between maintaining live internal SaaS products and building client features from ground zero.
