Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on experience building enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.

Experience working on US-based projects, US clients, or large corporate/enterprise environments is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with distributed teams and supporting applications across development, testing, and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.

• Build scalable microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

• Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.

• Integrate applications using Kafka or other messaging technologies.

• Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.

• Work with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Work with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.

• Troubleshoot issues across development, QA, and production environments.

• Collaborate with developers, QA, product owners, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+; Java 21 preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections, Streams, Exception Handling, Multithreading, and Concurrency.

• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data/JPA, and Spring Security.

• Strong experience with Microservices and REST APIs.

• Experience with Hibernate/JPA.

• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases.

• Experience with Git and Maven/Gradle.

• Experience with JUnit and Mockito.

• Good understanding of application security and secure coding.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience working on US-based projects or with US clients.

• Experience working for large corporate or enterprise organizations.

• Experience working with distributed/onshore-offshore development teams.

Education & Experience

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.

• Recent hands-on experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.

• Experience in a professional Agile software development environment.

• US project/client and enterprise experience strongly preferred.
