Lead Developer (Full stack/software lead)

We’re seeking an experienced Lead Developer to guide a team, own technical decisions, and deliver high-quality software. You’ll help shape architecture, mentor developers, and ensure features are delivered reliably and securely.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical delivery**

Own end-to-end development for key features and modules

Review code, ensure code quality, and set engineering best practices

Resolve complex technical issues and improve system reliability

Architect and design**

Design scalable solutions and system architecture

Define APIs, data models, and integration approaches

Ensure maintainability through clean architecture and standards

Team leadership**

Mentor and guide engineers through reviews and coaching

Support planning, estimation, and delivery timelines

Facilitate collaboration across frontend, backend, QA, and product

Engineering excellence**

Improve CI/CD, testing strategy, and development workflows

Drive performance, security, and observability practices

Manage technical documentation and technical roadmaps

Requirements

Proven experience as a Lead / Senior Developer**

Strong background in software development (backend/frontend/full stack—based on your need)

Experience designing and shipping production systems

Strong programming skills**

Expertise in one or more of: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#, Go, PHP, etc. (edit to match your stack)

Architecture & design skills**

Solid understanding of system design, data modeling, and APIs

Experience with microservices or modular monoliths (as applicable)

DevOps / delivery knowledge**

Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and release processes

Understanding of containers and infrastructure basics (Docker/Kubernetes—optional)

Quality & collaboration**

Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management

Ability to mentor and drive engineering standards

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Knowledge of security best practices, OWASP, and authentication/authorization

Experience with monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Sentry)

Familiarity with messaging/queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ/SQS)

Experience with performance optimization and scaling
