Software Solution Architect

Job Responsibilities

1. Leading the customer engagement of the solution part in the early stages of a project in order to give confidence and open opportunities for up sell.
2. Together with the project manager identify scope and assist in services cost estimation. Additionally proactively manage this scope and associated actuals against the planned cost/scope.
3. Collection of business and technical requirements through series of workshops with customers / stakeholders.
4. Production of requirement documentation to formalize and agree captured requirements.
5. Creation of solution proposal utilizing industry standard frameworks to meet requirements, using products and services from the Huawei portfolio.
6. Tracking of compliancy to requirements based on proposed solution initially and throughout the delivery.
7. Manage and own the technical delivery during the project life cycle by ensuring deliveries from the implementation teams are compliant with the proposed solution.
8. Documenting services required to deliver solution including information about any phasing required due to project financial constraints, technical product roadmap dependencies etc..
9. Participate in meetings with customers on solution issues.
10. Analyze scope changes throughout project, initially identifying areas of increased scope / scope change, through assessing impacts to cost base / timelines, to supporting the CR(Change Request) process.

Requirements Skills

1. Strong experience of technically leading complex projects throughout the complete IT lifecycle (Analysis, Architecture, Design, Build, Test & Production)
2. Knowledge and experience of developing a SOA (Service Orientated Architecture).
3. Strong experience of working within a large scale Telecom/IT environment, ideally an operator/supplier.
4. Experience of technically leading projects throughout the complete IT Development Life-cycle from requirements capture to handover and knowledge transfer. The candidate will have a full knowledge of the development/delivery life-cycle of mobile money solution projects
5. The candidate will have the capability to organize and run requirement capture workshops as well as proactively listening to user needs.
6. Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, C++ etc. is preferred
7. Excellent presentation (oral and written), communication, and documentation skills.
8. 1. Education and Major requirements
      Bachelor degree or above, majoring in software engineering or related fields.
      Project Experience
      Preference will be given to those who have worked on payment-related projects.
