Junior IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Junior IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will be the first point of contact for technical support, helping employees resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues. Key Responsibilities

· Provide Helpdesk Support: Respond to internal support tickets, emails, and calls regarding technical issues.

· Troubleshoot Systems: Diagnose and resolve basic errors across desktop operating systems and office software.

· Manage Hardware: Set up, configure, and deploy laptops, monitors, phones, and printers for employees.

· User Management: Handle password resets and manage user accounts in company software systems.

· Document Solutions: Log all support activities and write simple setup guides for the company knowledge base.

· Escalate Issues: Identify complex problems and route them accurately to senior IT team members.

Required Qualifications & Skills

· Education/Experience: Degree in IT, completion of a tech training program, or 6+ months of equivalent hands-on experience.

· Operating Systems: Basic familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments.

· Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting instincts with a desire to learn new technologies.

· Communication: Excellent customer service skills and the ability to explain technical fixes clearly.

Good To have

· CompTIA A+, Network+, or Google IT Support Professional Certification.

· Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, IP addresses, cables).

On-Site Deployments: Travel to different places, offices to set up hardware, configure local networks, and support remote staff.
