COBIT 2019 Foundation Trainer Services

Purpose and Background

JSI (“Client”) seeks to engage a qualified individual or firm (“Contractor”) to deliver instructor-led COBIT 2019 Foundation Training. The purpose of this training is to equip participants with the knowledge required to understand the COBIT 2019 governance framework, prepare them for the COBIT 2019 Foundation certification exam, and enable them to apply governance principles within the organization .

The Client requires a trainer with verifiable expertise in IT governance and practical experience in implementing COBIT frameworks.

Scope of Services

The Contractor shall provide comprehensive training services covering the COBIT 2019 Foundation syllabus. The training must align with the latest ISACA guidelines and exam requirements.

In Scope:

• In-Person Instructor-led training delivery.
• Provision of official ISACA COBIT 2019 Foundation course materials or approved equivalents.
• Delivery of practice questions and exam preparation guidance.
• Post-training support for participants (e.g., Q&A session, access to trainer for clarification).

Out of Scope:

• COBIT Implementation or Assessor level training.
• Exam vouchers and proctoring.
• Customization of ISACA proprietary materials that violate copyright agreements.

1. Client Responsibilities

• Logistics: The Client will facilitate the training venue and accommodations.
• Evaluation: The Client is responsible for collecting post-session evaluations from participants .

1. Performance Evaluation and Acceptance Criteria

The Contractor’s performance will be evaluated based on:

• Participant Feedback: Average rating of 4.0 out of 5.0 or higher on trainer effectiveness and content relevance.
• Exam Readiness: At least [e.g., 85%] of participants should feel “Confident” or “Very Confident” about taking the COBIT exam, as measured by the post-training survey.
• Adherence to Schedule: All sessions must start and end at the agreed-upon times.

Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

• Materials: Proprietary ISACA materials remain the property of ISACA. The Contractor grants the Client a license to use any custom training aids developed for this engagement for internal purposes only .
• Confidentiality: The Contractor agrees not to disclose any proprietary Client information shared during the training preparation or delivery.

The Contractor must assign a trainer who meets the following minimum mandatory qualifications. The Client reserves the right to reject any proposed trainer who does not meet these criteria.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Certification: The trainer must hold a current, valid COBIT 2019 Foundation Certificate. Advanced certifications (e.g., COBIT Design & Implementation, CISA, CISM) are highly preferred.
• Instructional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering instructor-led training specifically on COBIT or related IT governance frameworks.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Demonstrated experience in designing or implementing IT governance systems using COBIT principles .
