Back end Developer

We’re Hiring: Backend Developer
We’re looking for a Backend Developer with 2+ years of professional experience to join our engineering team and help us build reliable, scalable backend systems.
What You’ll Work On
Design, build, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs
Develop scalable microservices using Node.js, TypeScript, and Nest JS
Experience with SaaS and multi-tenant applications
Design and maintain PostgreSQL databases and schemas
Write efficient SQL queries and investigate and optimize slow database operations
Work extensively with Type ORM, including relationships, Query Builder, transactions, and migrations
Integrate with third-party services and internal systems, including REST and RPC services
Implement authentication and authorization using technologies such as JWT, OAuth, and role-based access control
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and documented code
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions
Work closely with frontend, mobile, QA, and product teams
Investigate and resolve bugs and performance issues in production
Contribute effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of professional backend development experience
Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
Strong hands-on experience with Nest JS
Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and relational database design
Good knowledge of SQL, joins, indexes, transactions, and query optimization
Practical experience with Type ORM or a similar ORM
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
Familiarity with g RPC
Good understanding of authentication and authorization
Experience writing automated tests
Good understanding of Git, branching, pull requests, and code reviews
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable taking ownership and delivering in a fast-paced engineering environment
Nice to Have
Experience with Redis and message queues such as RabbitMQ
Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with cloud platforms
Understanding of software architecture and design patterns
Knowledge of application security best practices
Experience building fintech, financial, or other business-critical systems
Experience working with high-volume databases and performance-sensitive applications
