1. General Manager (GM)

Department: Executive management

Reports To: The board of directors/ Shareholders Location: Addis Ababa

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the company's overall strategy, operations, and sustainable growth.
• Oversee technology development, project delivery, and quality assurance.
• Manage departments, teams, budgets, and organizational performance.
• Identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with clients and partners.
• Ensure effective implementation of company policies, procedures, and strategic objectives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, electrical and communication Engineering or closely related field.
• Having proven management related degree/certificate is advantageous
• Required Work Experience
• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership position.

Required Managerial Skills

• Strategic planning, organizational leadership, and business development.
• Project portfolio management, budgeting, financial oversight, and resource allocation.
• Team leadership, performance management, and talent development.
• Client relationship management, contract negotiation, and strategic partnership development.
• Strong decision-making, communication, problem-solving, and risk management skills.

Required Technical Skills

• Understanding of software architecture, system design, and software development lifecycle.
• Proven knowledge of AI-enabled software development, Big Data, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and database technologies.
• Experience with enterprise systems, system integration, cloud technologies, and digital transformation.
• Ability to oversee technical teams, review system designs, and ensure software quality, security, and scalability.
• Experience managing complex IT projects and technology solutions.
