Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java 17 or higher, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting scalable enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.

• Build scalable microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.

• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.

• Develop clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable code following coding best practices.

• Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.

• Integrate applications using Kafka or other messaging technologies.

• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.

• Work with Git for source-code management.

• Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

• Work with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.

• Troubleshoot application issues across development, testing, and production environments.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with developers, QA, product owners, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 or higher; Java 21 experience is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections, Streams, Exception Handling, Multithreading, and Concurrency.

• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data/JPA, and Spring Security.

• Experience designing and developing Microservices architecture.

• Strong experience developing and consuming REST APIs.

• Experience with Hibernate/JPA.

• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.

• Experience with Git and Maven/Gradle.

• Experience writing automated tests using JUnit and Mockito.

• Good understanding of application security and secure coding practices.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience preferred.

• Demonstrated recent hands-on development experience using Java 17 or higher.
