IT / Network Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and detailed IT / Network Engineer to manage, maintain, and secure our corporate and operational network infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for network installation, server administration, user hardware support, system security, and maintaining connectivity across our office and operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Infrastructure & Administration: Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN connections to ensure maximum network uptime.

• Systems & Server Management: Administer Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, data backup systems, and cloud-hosted services.

• Hardware & Technical Support: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, peripheral devices, and IP telephony (VoIP).

• Cybersecurity & Access Control: Implement firewalls, apply network security policies, manage user permissions, and ensure routine system patch management and antivirus updates.

• System Diagnostics & Optimization: Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, conduct root-cause analysis on connectivity outages, and optimize bandwidth usage.

• Documentation & Asset Management: Maintain accurate IT inventory records, network diagrams, security protocols, and system configuration documentation.

Requirement

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, systems administration, or IT infrastructure support.

Technical Skills

• Router, switch, and firewall configuration (Cisco, Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, etc.)

• TCP/IP routing, VLAN setup, VPNs, subnets, and network diagnostics

• Active Directory, Windows Server, and Linux OS administration

• Network cabling (Cat6, Fiber), patch panel management, and rack setup

Certifications (Preferred)

CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or MCSA is a strong plus.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving ability, clear technical communication, and effective user support skills.
