IT and Software Specialists (E -Invoicing Implementation and Technical Support )

Axova.io is seeking six qualified and experienced IT and Software Specialists to join our team in implementing, managing, and supporting electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) solutions across our SaaS, e-commerce, and Point-of-Sale (POS) platforms.

As this position involves regulatory accreditation and licensing requirements, all applicants must possess authentic, valid, and verifiable educational and professional documentation.

1. University Degree Certificate: A valid bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field from a recognized institution.

2. Professional Experience Certificate: Official employment or experience certificates confirming at least two (2) years of relevant professional experience.

3. Employment Income Tax Payment Evidence (ግብር የተከፈለበት ማስረጃ): Official income tax payment records or supporting tax documentation verifying previous employment.

4. Updated CV / Résumé: Detailing educational qualifications, employment history, technical skills, and relevant experience.

5. Additional Supporting Documents: Portfolio links, GitHub profile, and other relevant documents for qualification verification and regulatory accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

1. E-Invoicing Implementation & Technical Operations

• Implement, configure, integrate, test, and maintain electronic invoicing solutions.

• Support e-invoicing functionality across SaaS, e-commerce, and POS platforms.

• Assist with invoice generation, validation, reporting, and transaction management.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain system reliability.

• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on integrations, security, and performance improvements.

• Provide technical support for system updates and ongoing operations.

2. Merchant Onboarding, Training & Technical Support

• Onboard merchants and assist with system activation and configuration.

• Conduct practical training on e-invoicing, invoice generation, and transaction management.

• Provide hands-on technical assistance during implementation and daily operations.

• Develop user guides, training materials, and technical documentation.

• Respond to merchant inquiries and resolve technical issues.

• Guide merchants on applicable e-invoicing procedures and operational requirements.

3. Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation Support

• Support electronic invoicing accreditation and licensing processes with the Ministry of Revenues (MoR).

• Prepare technical documentation and supporting materials for regulatory evaluation.

• Participate in system testing, compliance verification, and technical assessments.

• Maintain accurate professional qualification and employment records.

• Help ensure system operations comply with applicable Ethiopian regulations.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing, integrating, or supporting e-invoicing systems in Ethiopia.

• Familiarity with Shopify.com Platform

• Familiarity with MoR electronic invoicing systems and regulatory procedures.

• Experience with POS systems, sales registration software, fintech, or tax-related applications.

• Knowledge of API integrations, invoicing workflows, and financial transactions.

• Experience in merchant training, customer onboarding, and technical support.

• Understanding of Ethiopian VAT, withholding tax, and invoicing procedures.

• Strong communication skills in Amharic and English.

• Experience preparing technical documentation and training materials.
