Senior Data Analyst

Job Summary

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for managing, analyzing, and interpreting data to support informed business decision-making and reporting. The role involves developing data models, automated data pipelines, and business intelligence solutions, while applying statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modelling techniques to generate meaningful insights and improve organizational performance.

Educational Qualification

• BSc/MSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information System Management, Statistics, or a related field.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant and proven experience in data management and reporting.
• Previous experience as a Junior Data Analyst or in a related role is an advantage.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in SQL and Python is mandatory; knowledge of R and Scala is advantageous.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, OBIEE, Sisense, or other business intelligence tools.
• Strong statistical analysis, data modelling, and data mining skills.
• Experience developing ETL processes and automated data pipelines.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL, and data warehouse technologies.
• Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and other big data technologies.
• Understanding of machine learning and predictive modelling.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
