Senior, System, Data Base Administration, IST and IT security Officer

To manage, maintain, and secure the institution’s IT systems, databases, infrastructure, and information assets. The position ensures the availability, reliability, performance, and security of IT services, while supporting business operations and users. The role is also responsible for data protection, backup and recovery, access control, system monitoring, and implementation of appropriate IT security measures in line with the institution’s policies and regulatory requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor servers, databases, networks, CBS, and critical IT systems.
• Ensure system availability, performance, data integrity, backup, and recovery.
• Prepare, implement and monitor IT security policies, controls, and procedures.
• Manage user access, system privileges, cybersecurity controls, and IT security incidents.
• Implement and test disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
• Provide IT service support and manage system incidents, changes, and technical issues.
• Coordinate with technology vendors for system implementation, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Support digital banking, system integration, APIs, and other technology initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with institutional IT policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Prepare IT performance, security, incident, and risk reports for management.
• Provide technical guidance and support to IT staff and users.

Qualifications & Skills

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• 4/3 years of relevant experience, out of which 3 years in Officer positions.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

• Demonstrable experience managing ICT and Digital operations and change.
• Demonstrated experience applying emerging technologies.
• Strong understanding of digital payment systems, cybersecurity, software engineering, and banking technology.
• Strong ability to collaborate with IT and traditional banking units to drive change.
• Proven experience in digital operations, ICT, and implementing digital transformation.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, SEO/SEM, and data analytics.
• Strong relationship management, team leadership, and strategic planning skills are essential.
